Do you ever have those days that you wish would never end?

Today was one of those days. It was hot, breezy, and beautiful blue skies. Perfect day for a swim and for a 4th of July celebration, which is exactly what we did!

Yes, I am aware that it is not the 4th of July. It is the 7th of July. However due to a busy week with a new baby, a surgery, and sick kids, we postponed our celebration to today.

And oh was it worth it!

I had my first cheeseburger in 4 months… it was delicious.

After spending a few hours at the pool, we sat down to a feast.

An AMERICAN feast. I don’t think I’ve been that full since I’ve been in China.
