“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displaced in him.”
~John 9:3
Oh little one, how you break my heart. I want to make all your hurts and pain go away. I want to hold you forever in my arms and just love you back to health. I want your heart to be healed so that you will no longer have a difficult time breathing.

Your name means “free.” And I pray that one day you will be free. Free from a heart defect and free from your other medical conditions. Precious little one, I pray that you will follow Jesus and truly know how you are free in Christ. That even though your life has started out with tears, sorrow, and pain, He has a plan, a very good plan.

When I heard you crying this afternoon, walked into your room, and saw those large tears rolling down your cheeks, it broke my own heart. I’ve only known you for a few short weeks, but you hold such a special place in my heart.

Each tear reminds me of all the pain you’ve experienced in your short life. Tears of abandonment…. and fear. But little one, you don’t have to fear any longer. Your life is a miracle and I believe that the miracles have only begun.
God is going to use you in huge ways someday, for His glory and His praise. He is using you now.
Just a few weeks ago, you were left, abandoned. Brought to an orphanage where they realized that they couldn’t help you. So they called us. And you’ve gone from a baby with no name, to our precious baby girl. Dearly loved, prayed for, and cherished. You have people all over the world praying for you, sweet one.
God is already using you, to make His name known.
