Praying for ???

"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”

Isaiah 43:1

Change is coming. I’ve been in a period of waiting many of you know. You may not know the details and that is fine. I’ve been asking for prayer and support and clarity. And God keeps asking me to trust Him. To give Him my heart, my desires, my emotions, all of it. And He keeps telling me to wait. To not give up, but to wait on Him. Wait on His timing. That He is working even through all the confusion, heartache and questioning I’ve experienced these last few months. And He has been good. I have drawn closer to Him like I never have before. Out of desperation because He is my only hope. The only light at the end of this tunnel I’ve been stuck in. The one who gives and takes away. The one who holds my whole life in His hands. The one who I belong too. He’s been speaking words of confirmation but I haven’t seen any results. But then He just says “Anneli, wait for me. Just because you’re not seeing changes doesn’t mean I’m not working.” So there you have it.

Today I’ve just felt change is coming. I’ve mentioned it to a few people and they ask me “what change?” I don’t know that. I just fee like after all my waiting and prayers and questioning, some answers may be coming. I feel like there is a turning point about to happen. But God is still calling me to wait on Him until He says otherwise.

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”

Psalm 37:7

  1. I love that verse you started with.

I don't know any of the details of what you're walking through right now, but I can relate to the sentiment of waiting on him, and holding on to Him because he is the only answer.

As I've been wondering why God has been taking so long to show up in some ways I thought he had said he would in my life, this verse in 2 Peter 3:9 comes to mind, as I wait for the Lord to move-"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness. . ." It's not really in context, since it's talking about his 2nd coming in that verse, but I think the principle still applies.

Anyways, just wanted to encourage you.
