I am thankful for Home.
A place to call "home." A place that will be there for me when I need it.
A place where I am headed in less than 2 weeks.
The quietness, the beauty (although it'll probably be white rather than green this time!), and the peacefulness.*Sigh* Oh I can't wait!
So beautiful! If I didn't know better, it could be right here in Iowa with the green rolling hills, fields, red barns and white house! Are you truly a farm girl? I anticipate your travels home as you are ready to be filled up again with a good dose of HOMEloving, HOMEcooking, HOMEhome. Thank you for the sacrifices you make for the little ones so that some day THEY can have their own love for their HOME!--hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWell, yes, I grew up on a "farm." However, not a "working farm." The only animals in our barn are cats and pigeons. :) I live all around farms though.... yes, the smell of manure reminds me of home.
