We have had rain, rain, and more rain here in southern China. Finally when some rays of sunshine appeared today, I decided to snag the opportunity to be outside while I could. I grabbed my camera and went for a walk. Since I hadn't written my "Sunday Snapshot" blog post yet for today, I decided that what better way to show life here than to show you all some of the "scenes of China." I live in very, very southern China. We are almost directly on the Tropic of Cancer. Therefore, it's a very tropical climate. Palm trees, tropical fruit, etc. People are always surprised when I post pictures of palm trees! THAT is CHINA?! Yes, it is!
Here are some of the flowers, plants, and even a giant snail. Some of the scenery I get to witness every. single. day. God is so creative, isn't He?
"The whole earth is filled with awe at Your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, You call forth songs of joy."
Psalm 150:6
Sweet shots!

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you meant 2005. ;-) Yes, China really is a beautiful place. I need to stop and reflect on it more often.
