And Just When You’re Used to it…

… THINGS CHANGE!

“Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

~Habakkuk 2:3b

Now I have said it before, not all change is bad.

But it is indeed change which sometimes may be difficult.

We have a vision to grow.

To be able to help more children in need.

However, in order to do that, we need more nannies.

We have been praying for nannies since I arrived in March, and I’m sure way before!

God knew our needs.

And He knew WHO needed to come and nanny.

And He knew WHEN they were to come.

Well… now is apparently time for some of that to start happening!

We have at least 3 new nannies all in the matter of a week and a half.

And possibly more…

Who knows what else God has up that Heavenly sleeve of His?

So yes, this is change… but it’s exciting change!

And along with that change means two new housemates for me.

I have lived with one of our current nannies since I arrived.

Many may ask… “Anneli, I thought you lived by yourself?”

And to answer your question, I kind of did.

My apartment mate does not speak English.

And I don’t speak Cantonese.

So other than a “hello” and “good morning,” we can’t communicate much.

Now I have two more apartment mates… who also speak barely any English.

It’ll be interesting, that’s for sure.

And may be hard.

But I’m also up for the challenge.

Especially if it means we can bring more children in.

I’m sure I will have interesting living experiences to share!

And I thought having roommates in college was tough…

at least they spoke my language!
