He Is Able

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

~Ephesians 3:20

Why do I limit God? Limit His power and His ability? Not trusting Him that He has good plans for His children? Through sorrow and grief, we often think that God has forgotten. That He doesn’t care. When in fact, it is the total opposite.

He carries us through our times of grief and sorrow.

When life seems totally out of control, He is the only one IN CONTROL. And He is able. That is one thing that I have been claiming these last few days is that

HE IS ABLE.

Able to do FAR ABOVE and BEYOND what I could ever think or imagine. That He can take the sorrows in this life and bring good out of them. That He is God and He wants to give GOOD gifts to His children.

But often in order to strengthen our faith and to get to that place, we have to walk through pain and through sorrow. But we are never alone when we walk that path. Jesus is right there, carrying us.

“Even though I walk through the valleys of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

~Psalm 23:4

I can’t do this on my own. And I’m not supposed too. We are never supposed to get through hardships on our own.

Through every tear, heartache, sorrow, rejection, abandonment, and betrayal, God is there. And He understands.

After all…. Jesus was betrayed by His closest friends. He above anyone else understands.

In Him there is hope, there is redemption, and there is freedom. And rather than saying “if” I need to start saying “when.” Because He WILL DO IT. He is able to do it. I just have to trust Him.

“I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”

~Philippians 4:13

Do you believe that He is able? Believe it and claim that promise.
