I tend to feel a little guilty when posting about my home because well… it’s really nice. But then again, following Jesus doesn’t necessarily mean that we have to live in a hut with no running water. I just happen to live in a really nice apartment for not very much.
Ever since I arrived in my new home almost 2 months ago now, I knew I needed to make it more “home.” And that meant giving it an “Anneli touch.” I started off with the bathroom which I posted pictures of several weeks ago. My next project was my bedroom and where I spent the majority of my time when I’m actually at my apartment.
There are still a few more things added to the wall later but for now, I think it looks MUCH better if I do say so myself!

I made my first visit to an Ikea store on Friday with some of my new friends and wow, is it wonderful! Although after a few hours of shopping, I was beginning to get a bit dizzy! Dinner at Papa John’s made me feel much better! Amazing what a little bit of comfort will do!

I love the new look in your apartment! Very colorful! It was funny because as soon as I saw that I instantly thought of Ikea before I read about your actually shopping there. I am so glad to see that things are going well for you there.
