I've been home for 11 days now and started nannying again for the family who I nannied for a year and a half before I left for China. Can I just say that I'm going into culture shock over it? First of all, as you can see from the pictures, these kids are VERY blonde, very different from the dark haired children I've been working with for the past 4 months. Also, they speak/understand ENGLISH! Weird I know! I've just gotten so used to having no idea what the kids were saying to me that it's weird knowing what their saying, LOL. I know it sounds strange and I never thought it would hit me like this but I was a little overwhelmed yesterday on my first day back.
Cute BLONDE kids! And English, whatever will you do? hmmm...maybe expect them to do as you say? or respond to you with words? ;)
