On a Search

I am flying home in just 6 weeks. That's right.... 6 weeks. No, I'm not moving home, just visiting for the holidays. Last year was a really good Christmas celebrated with my little ones, but I am thankful that I am able to be home for this Christmas season. Last week was a bit stressful figuring out plane tickets but it is all figured out and I'm ready to think about packing. I know it's still a little early, but there are many things that I want to bring home and leave home. Unfortunately organization is in order for that to happen. Also, there are a few little things that I want to bring home that I can use in my home someday that will allow me to remember China and my time spent here.

My latest quest? A tea set. How could I ever leave China without a nice tea set to display in my home someday? I know, my thoughts exactly. So I have been on a search for the perfect one. I found this beautiful wooden piece on Saturday to display my tea set on. I went out again yesterday and visited several stores. I think I have it narrowed down to... five. I am apparently really bad at making a decision. Since I still have six weeks, I decided to leave the store and think about my decision before going back to make the purchase. I wish I had taken pictures of them, then you all could have helped me decide. Of course I didn't think of that idea until I was on the bus headed for home. Oh well. They are pretty, I can tell you that at least.
