Will You Help?

I have a pretty awesome brother.
Okay, actually I am blessed with FIVE pretty awesome brothers.
Each amazing and gifted in their own way.
But they do all have one thing in common.
They ALL love to tease me.
Ok, but that is not the point of this blog post.

Meet my brother, Asa. He is the "middle child" and just finished up his junior year of college.
Asa has such a love for Jesus and a desire to share Him with others.
He also loves baseball.
He has an amazing opportunity this summer to not just play baseball but also to do local outreach and discipleship.

Where you might ask?
In ALASKA!
Asa will be playing with Athletes in Action, which is ministry branch of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ).

AIA (Athletes in Action) is part of of the sports ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Through baseball, clinics, and local outreach, the AIA team will be sharing the message of hope through Jesus Christ in the Anchorage, Alaska area this summer.
Want to get to know Asa a little bit?
You can check out his blog here.

Just like me, Asa needs to raise all of his own support for the 2 months he will spend in Alaska.
Thankfully he needs a lot less than me!
Alaska is a place of depression, poverty, and in need of Jesus Christ and the hope He offers.
Are you interested in being a part of an amazing ministry opportunity?
You can give here.

I know it would mean the world to him!
Thank you!

Will You Help??

Meet my dear friend, Ruth!
Ruth and I lived together back in 2010 which was my first trip to China.
Since then I went home and have since been back, but Ruth?
She has been living in China for over 3 years now (!) loving the orphaned and the fatherless!
She has such a heart for these precious children.
Ruth is in the process of adopting a little girl from China!
And as we all know, adopting from China is expensive.
Being on the other side of the world is difficult for many reasons, especially when you are trying to raise support to bring a little one home.

Ruth has some large adoption expenses coming up.
Will you consider helping her bring her precious daughter home?
We are the body of Christ and we are called to love the "orphaned and the fatherless."

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:18)

Maybe your family isn't called to adopt.
But you can help someone else adopt.

Ruth is taking this huge leap of faith to bring her daughter home.
Can you take a leap of faith and help her do that?

Check out her blog here:
